Love your site and all you've done to keep the Legendary 3-wheeler alive.
Just thought I'd give you a quick look at my 'R. I am the original owner! I
purchased it brand-spank'n new back in '86 and only put about 8 months of
river runn'n and sand-dun'n on it. I parked my barely broken in 'R in our
climate controlled barn during during the fall of '87 and headed off to
college. And there it stayed - for over fourteen years!!!! I planned on
retrieving it, but my life got fast and furious, and I kinda kept putting it
off. My Dad told me a few years after I left for college that if I did not
come get it, he was going to sell it to get it out of the way and give me
the money later. I figured he did, but never asked him the details cause it
upset me to lose the 'R.
During a return home for Christmas 1999, I went looking around the old
delapited remains of what was our barn and was flabbergasted to discover my
'R still sit'n in the same spot I left it soo many years before.
My Dad did not have the heart to sell it!
So, I have one of the ONLY Brand-New ATC250R's around in 2002! I had it all
checked out and brought to running condition...then put it back in climate
controlled storage.
I can't stand it any longer, and have decided that I will start ridding it
again this summer. It is one SWEET ATC 250R
