83 250R Restore in progress Here is the 83 250r I purchased for $100.00 It runs awsome but I decided to do a complete ground up restoration on her! She came with 250sx rear plastic (Not shown in Pictures) in not too bad of shape, the rear bearing carrier is pretty ugly though! The engine runs real well and transmision seams to be good also! So I decided to just clean the engine up real good and put her back in when I get everything else done! Items I purchased for this on e-bay include! Stock handlebars rear swingarm rear axle and hubs front spindle and hub and rear brake caliper all of them came off of a running 84 250R for a total of $178.00 including the shipping! I just bought the stock seat for $10.49 plus $9.00 shipping! So now all I need is front and rear plastics, Tank plastics and a rear bearing carrier! So I should have less than $500.00 in this thing when I amm done! So far I am at about $300.00 I will include some pictures of work in progress and if anyone has any parts I need please e-mail me and let me know the price! |
